Excellent piece of field survival kit. The amazing Ranger burns with double-power parallel jets of high velocity blue flames that never fail to impress. A must for those who want to have a reliable lighter in the field which is excellent to work in bad weather conditions. It can be used as a blow torch for heating metal, seal rope, cut line, melt plastics, light hexi in seconds, shrink wire joints, soften p-tex, seal fly ties, patch fibreglass, blast rust. Great for repairs outdoors.
The handy flip cap opening allows easy one handed operation –e.g., when sealing rope.
The powerful twin flames don’t bend and as a result can deliver a roaring high temperature heat where needed - even upside down! Makes lighting a camp fire or your Trangia stove in windy conditions a simple task rather than burnt finger tips with half a matchstick box spent and blown over by the wind and rain.
Turboflame work up to 3000 M (10,000 ft) altitude and don’t ‘self-combust’ at high altitudes.
All in all, Turboflame® Ranger model is the perfect accompaniment to the pocket-knife and flashlight - a must for any survival kit.

I have used this lighter for the last five years and would still be using the original purchase had I not lost it. Great lighter!

The trouble with the Turbo flame outdoor lighters is which one to choose, they are all fantastic. I always take mine with me when walking or camping as you can guarantee you will be able to light your stove even in the strongest winds. I would recommend these to any oudoor enthusiast or hobbyist. I just used mine to repair a venetian blind. Excellent!

I can across Turboflames about 10 years ago looking for a lighter for camping, hiking ect.. and have never looked back since. They are cost effective (I only have to replace about once every 2 years) they are durable, weather resistant and just a fantastic bit of kit and l look forward to using them for many years to come!
